NUCALA: Angie Patient Testimonial Social Videos (SEA)

Sometimes there’s more to asthma than how it seems on the surface—if symptoms and triggers are persistent and uncontrolled, it could be severe eosinophilic asthma (SEA). Once-monthly NUCALA targets and reduces the source of this inflammation, eosinophils, and gives SEA patients the relief of fewer flare-ups and more control.

Angie is a real NUCALA patient with SEA. In order to better reach younger audiences and other asthma patients like Angie, I worked with my creative parter to come up with a series of social videos designed to look function like user-generated content by following a set of evergreen social formulas: numbered lists, unboxing videos, story time, and "what’s in my bag” commentary.

Fun fact: This was my first time traveling to participate on-location for a shoot. Building on my previous shoot experience with the TRELEGY patient testimonials, my main role on-set of the Angie videos was to direct photography, select stills, and oversee retouching of final selects.
